ERA Colonial Real Estate and ERA Star of Texas Merge

Local residential real estate firms ERA Colonial Real Estate of Harker Heights and ERA Star of Texas of Austin have merged their operations.

The combined firm will conduct business as ERA Colonial Real Estate with its headquarters at 777 Indian Trail in Harker Heights, about five miles east of Killeen, according to Charles Bujan, a broker and owner of ERA Star of Texas.

“Attention to consumer needs has always been a trademark of both our real estate firms,” Bujan said. “Now we will be able to deliver our commitment to service to our customers and clients from more locations throughout Central Texas.”

Dennis DeWine, Broker/Owner of ERA Colonial Real Estate, said that the merger will allow for more territory coverage. “For the last nine years, we have been serving the Williamson County/North Austin areas from our Georgetown location near Sun City, so our merger with ERA Star of Texas in Austin allows ERA Colonial Real Estate to cover our so-called ‘doughnut hole’ between Georgetown and San Antonio,” DeWine said.

To show it will stay in Austin, ERA Colonial has opened an office on 5818 Balcones Drive at RM 2222.

“With growth and service productivity as company priorities, we’re pleased to have our newest location in Travis County,” he said.

Since 1987, ERA Colonial Real Estate has served Central and South Texas as well as the Texas Hill Country from Sales Centers in San Antonio, Georgetown and Harker Heights.

Both ERA offices are part of ERA® Franchise Systems LLC, a residential real estate company with more than 30 years experience in developing consumer-oriented products and services. The ERA® network includes more than 38,000 brokers and sales associates and approximately 3,000 offices throughout the United States and 49 other countries and territories.

Each office is independently owned and operated except offices owned and operated by NRT LLC.
