Our real estate center in Georgetown, TX is undergoing major changes in what we like to call “Extreme Makeover: Office Edition.”  We have demolished our old building and are in the process of building a larger office in the same location.  Here’s a look at the progress so far…

Officials declare Stage 3 Drought Emergency for Lake Georgetown

The Brazos River Authority declared a Stage 3 Drought Emergency for Lake Georgetown on Oct. 7, affecting water use in Georgetown, Round Rock, the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District and the Chisholm Trail Special Utility District.

State to raise I-35 speed limit near Georgetown

State transportation authorities plan to raise the speed limit on Toll 130 and a section of I-35 from Georgetown to Salado from 70 to 75 miles per hour. The change will not take effect until new signs are installed.

Georgetown postpones amphitheater design

Georgetown City Council members decided to wait at least a year before moving forward with the design of an amphitheater for San Gabriel Park. Council members cited difficult economic times as a factor in their decision Sept. 27.
